COMMITTED TO PUBLIC SAFETY, BALANCED DEVELOPMENT & QUALITY OF LIFE

Peter Molinari

TIME FOR ACTION

Dear Mission Viejo Neighbors,

For more than 18 years, I’ve been proud to call Mission Viejo home — as a resident, a homeowner, a parent, and a committed community advocate. This city has given my family so much; it’s been an honor to serve you as one of your Planning Commissioners and I would be honored to represent you on City Council.

My promise is simple: I will continue working tirelessly to represent you and to protect the values that make Mission Viejo such an exceptional place to live. Together, we’ve built real momentum over the past few years — strengthening our neighborhoods, investing in our amenities, and planning responsibly for the future. Now, we have the opportunity to carry that progress forward.

I’m dedicated to ensuring Mission Viejo remains a safe, well‑run, family‑centered community for the next generation. That means safeguarding our quality of life, supporting thoughtful local leadership, and making decisions rooted in the priorities of the people who live here.

Peter’s Priorities

PUBLIC SAFETY

Our men and women in uniform are brave and determined to keep us safe, and we need to give them the support that they need.  Peter’s philosophy is simple: the main priority of government is to protect the people, and the City needs to maintain a budget that supports that goal, assuring that our City has the equipment and personnel to keep us safe. Serving on the Planning Commission, Peter voted to rebuild OCFA Station 24 into the best fire facility in Orange County.

BUSINESSES & NONPROFIT SUPPORT

Peter Molinari is a fiscal conservative and believes in logical, common-sense government that is focused on helping, not hurting, our residents and local shops and businesses.  He believes in thoughtful growth, strategic investment, and balanced books.

SMART DEVELOPMENT

Peter has spent the past five years on Mission Viejo’s Planning and Transportation Commission, serving one year as Vice Chairman and one year as Chairman.  Throughout that time, he has been an advocate for smart development that adds value to our City and its residents, while maintaining our neighborhoods. As a Planning Commissioner, Peter played a crucial role in adopting amendments to the City’s housing element. Peter has a voting record that demonstrates a thoughtful approach to zoning and the needs of our City and its residents.

QUALITY OF LIFE

As your council member, Peter will work to protect our quality of life.   Mission Viejo is a wonderful community, but we have room for improvement.  Peter wants to revitalize the Civic Core with a commonsense plan, beautify our neighborhoods, and assure that the City continues to develop and improve infrastructure throughout our town.

GREAT SCHOOLS

Peter believes the hallmark of any great city is its schools. Mission Viejo is fortunate to have quality schools, and we must continue to push for the best. Peter’s daughter attended Reilly Elementary, Newhart Middle School and Capo Valley High School, and Peter has volunteered and led as a Booster President. He continues to support our local schools by contributing and attending events that sustain our neighborhood schools.
